I am from Richmond County but killed this deer on timber company land in Putmun County, Georgia. It is my biggest buck to date. I am always looking for a bigger one but haven't got him yet.

Shot him over a cover and turnip patch following a doe and fawn out of a thicket. Hit him right behin the front shoulder and he ran 20 yards back into the woods and crashed. Not the biggest deer I have ever killed but probably the oldest. He had no teeth left at all

October 11th I was bowhunting on my uncle's land outside of Gibsonville. One hour before dark I tickled my horns together for a few seconds. About 10 minutes went by and I looked to my right and there he stood at 20 yards rubbing his horns on a tree. He started walking toward me and at 8 yards he turned broadside. I released the arrow and knew it was a good hit.

I was still hunting in Chatham county in early December when this beautiful 8 pointer and a spike stepped into a clearing. One shot with my 243 WSSM and he dropped in his tracks. This makes the 5th buck taken to our local taxidermist, (Charles at Plank Road Taxidermy, my brother) killed from this stand in hte last 10 years!

I have been watching this bruiser since September while hunting with the Bow. Then again with the Muzzleloader. After thinking he had been harvested already he shows back up 12/28/2008. One day left for me to hunt(work always gets in the way) and he will keep me awake knowing he's still there!

This was my first bear ever! I was second gun a 10 year old boy was first gun but, when the bear decidefd to jump from one tree back to another and the first gun bowed out, it was up to me to keep us from wearing a live bear. The 45-70 did it's job with one shot. I will always remember this hunt. Thanks to a very special friend.

This buck was taken on private land with a bowon 10/28/2008. He was the smaller of two bucks and the only one in range. He was taken with a 40 yard shot. His antler spread is 19 in.

I hunted hard the week November 24 -- 29 2008. On Monday November 24 I shot a spike. Then on Friday November 28 at 7:30 a.m. this 8 pointer came in following a doe. I was shooting a Remington 243. I was still hunting.
