Deer hunting in the Central Section of North Carolina opens on Nov. 12.

On page 132 in the October issue of North Carolina Sportsman, incorrect dates for opening day of muzzleloader and gun seasons in the Central Deer section are listed.

Muzzleloader season opens on the Central Deer section on Oct. 29, not Oct. 20, as is listed in the magazine.

Gun season opens on Nov. 12, not Nov. 2, as is listed in the magazine.

Blackpowder season ends on Oct. 28, and gun season ends on Jan. 2, 2002.
