She has seen how excited I get talking about scouting for turkey and turkey hunting ,I think she is curious to see why I get so excited.She is going give it a try this season,if she gets her first bird....theres no turning back,she's hooked.Even to be able to call one in is a thrill,see there I go getting excited again,lol.

lol Thanks and I get excited also...I grabbed a Primos DVD last night and popped it in and man I was tore up lol...I can't wait!!! The older Man I used to work with that had never Turkey hunted until I called him his First in is obsessed lol, He called me the day after deer Season wanting to know the opening date lol

No Viper, I no longer work there...After 21 years China finally took our business just like they make most of the celebrity sponsored Brand name Turkey calls for all the T.V. Guys, They now get to make the Furniture that we used to make here in the USA. But, I have several rough calls that just need finished and I built me a Finishing Sander from a Old pressure Washer Motor that has 3700 RPMs...Works Great!! I fabricated a Jig for the Shaft on the motor to hold the pot and welded it to a Rolling table so I can just Roll it outside to keep the dust down in my garage. I rough cut the pot out with a small jig-saw and shape it with a wood rasp...I mess up on a few but that's OK..I still take pride in the ones I finish plus I think my Dog is part beaver because she LOVEs wood lol

I never said I haven't missed!!! I have missed my share of EVERYTHING lol...You don't have to say a word...I can just watch the end of your Gun barrel and tell when you see something because it starts jumping up and down with your heartbeat lol...I missed a Gobbler once because he was too close!!! It was raining and I was in a blind and just happened to look behind me and there he was just feeding along...When I finally got a shot he was less than 10 yards from me and my whole Load of Number 5s went right by his noggin...Sad But True lol

Always better to see them, then to see nothing... Everyone misses, I missed all 3 times this year on deer...

Dang NCF&H, Just seen your last comment about missing all 3 deer??? That would be a bummer!!! Dang!! I had a OK Season but goofed up on a few myself but that's hunting!!! We Just have to practice more in the off season.

All three of my attempts this year were within 5 minutes of legal light I bet. Very dark, trying to shoot my muscle memory more than anything. But it is called hunting not shopping...
