I had 3 pictures of that big buck last year with probably 11 other bucks (not that big) in that spot. Never saw him and let the others walk. This year I probably have about 50 to 60 pictures of him comin in during shooting hours and everything. Just hope I get him opening day!!

Don't Wait

Wes, I have seen Bucks year after year come in at different times of year to only hang for a limited time then the go into hibernation. More than likely he will not hang out long if history repeats itself!! Get him while you can. Good luck. Again nice deer

Good Luck again

Wes, Like Creek said...When dealing with bucks of this caliber...There's a small window of opportunity to close the deal...They know when something changes in their living room,They spend alot of time there...Just like if you went home and your recliner was missing or you had a New one...You would notice...But hopefully you will get him before he knows hes being hunted....Good Luck

yall are right

A couple weeks back I put up a single piece of PVC pipe for a feeder so the coons wouldnt eat my corn so quick. Went by an entire week and didnt get ONE picture of one of these bucks. On the seventh day i took the pipe out and that night had all three back in the corn pile. Its amazing how you can change one thing and these bucks get skitish. Hopefully I wont make anymore mistakes! Ill let yall know how September 11th goes. If good, im sure i will post some pictures. ha

My point Wes!

That's what I,m talking bout Wes, Gotta keep a LOW PROFILE when your hunting mature deer. I don't use much bait myself and try to do most of my preparing when its raining, so when they notice some limbs cut (and they will notice)they hopefully will think the rain storm had something to do with it and most of my scent will be washed away. Then again i've seen people kill deer in the middle of a field eating apples and not a apple tree on the property. Then again it could be as simple as...'To Kill a Big Deer, You gotta hunt where theres big deer at!' Good Luck
