Wish I could help you there but, I can't. I've been proccessing my own for 8 years now. It takes a little time but, you know it's your deer and all of your deer!
I usually slice and dice my own too, but I usually get at least one ground up...guess I need to find me a grinder.
I bought a grinder at Gander Mountain for about $100.00. Nothing fancy but it works great. I also bought a 5 lbs. sausage stuffer for about the same. They sell the seasonings and everything there.
I buy Boston Butts when they are on sale and grind them up with the Venison at about 70% deer to 30% pork. Then I mix in some Italian Season mix and I have Seasoned hamburger that the family kids, nieces and nephews love.
My brother in law use to take his to the butcher and swears he wasn't getting enough meat back. I told him.....that's why I do my own!
