Well it's been a tough season for me this year, I have seen very few deer and no shooter bucks, decided to take my 6 year old niece out with me yesterday evening. I was very impressed she was able to sit there with me in a blind for 2.5 hours. Every couple minutes she asked when the deer were gonna come out into the crp field, and I said hopefully soon, well last 20 minutes of light to Doe stepped out at about 100 yards and took the bigger if the two, my sister who is not to big on hunting was shocked when I sent her a picture of our harvest, I thinky niece will always remember this evening and her first hunting experience.

    well done
Like GT said, that's awesome that you shared that experience with your niece.
We are trying to put a good friend's 9yr old son on his first deer. So far nothing has shown up but I think it will happen for the young guy. I think this full moon is going to work against us in the next few days though.

GT I am ready for a lil turkey action, it's gonna be tough this season, my wife and are are expecting our second son to be born early April so finding the time without my wife cutting my head out will be difficult, lol, hope its a better turkey season then it has been deer, good luck this morning and stay dry.
