Kevin Boyce's Swamp Buck
Kevin Boyce killed this nice main frame 8 with one kicker on November 23, 2012. This buck came in at 5:00 p.m. working its way through the swampy area he was hunting. After watching the buck feed a while, the buck opened himself up to a clear vital shot. Kevin shot the buck with his Remington Model 700 270 cal rifle using Hornady Custom 140 grain bullets. The buck went about 20 yards before dropping into the swamp. This buck has green scored at 140 - 145. His G2's measured at 13' with a 17 1/2' inside spread and weighed in at 187 lbs.

Man that is some 8 pointer! I don't care if they're 6 pointers, when they are that tall and wide they look huge! But a 140' gross 8 is nice. Way to go!
