zink made a believer out of me last year
last year i tried out my feeder hen and had 2 hens and 2 toms come up and feed right next to her. sothis year i figured id add the jake to the mix. hopefully they work out for me again. they arent the cheapest things out there but worth the money... my hen survived a week in the woods in VA. when i went back to get her she was knocked down the hill but still inflated.

The only problem with the Avians are when you find yourself disoriented and waking up from a long nap.....they will scare the crap out of you because they look so real....lol!

AMEN!! Mac, I tell ya Man, People talk junk about the avians and how they will explode...Well Duh!! It's inflatable Rubber and it you put it out it direct sunlight, it will expand lol Just like your Car tires do when they get hot but I agree, They are pricey for today's economy and even if I hadn't caught mine on Sale, I think I would still had to have at least 1...I got lucky last year and really didn't get to experience what a decoy can do for ya but I can't wait to try them again!! I haven't took the plunge for a Jake yet and only have a feeder and lookout and so far, I'm impressed!! Not saying my Old paint-less feather flex didn't work all the other years lol and alot lighter!!!
