Deer Hunting in Northeastern North Carolina
note to freind wash ur boots.
well this is going to sound hard to believe but. when hunting last year.a friend and i was hunting the same field 600 yrds apart.well all was good until dark. i seen coyote tracks in the field and bear tracks too. so we meet up in the middle of the feild. and sure enought.dogs started to bark.we did not think much about it .until the bastasrs where closing in on us . my guess was 10 or so from the right and 5 or so from the far left.i mean the things can move in fast. my friend looked at me and said what r u doing.well im swing my gun and flash light around like a marry go round.we cound not beleive it at first.but we was to be dinner .i mean doggie treats .so when i seen the first dog .well u know what i did.so that shut m up .if they had a contest for fastest reloading muzzloader contest i was sure a winner.so with gun in hand we was making r own tracks up the field. back at the cabin telling r story .my friend made an observation .when he harvested a deer the day before.he never washed the blood off has boots. it was the best coyote atractent ever...so note to all hunters .tell your buddys to wash their darn boots off. sorry so long winded .but its hard to tell that story short.good luck huntng to all.
