Flightwire Test 2013
I shot this video after having my bow-smith put the new Flightwire by First String, strings and cables on my Hoyt TrykonXL. I chronographed this set up at 294fps. I\\\'m not making excuses but I have not shot my bow since the end of Turkey season.I shot 4 arrows two rounds at 55 yards and 1 round at 30 yards to make sure my sight tape was close and then shot this video. I was pretty happy with the set-up....now it\\\'s time to shoot, shoot, shoot to get my form back.I was surprised that the first arrow shot was the Rage 2 blade practice tip and how well it flies. The second and third shots I pulled and the fourth clipped a hanging branch (the arc on the shot was 7 feet high) and hit the top of the target....so I\\\'ll cheat and say I hit 4 for 4. Note the penetration at this distance!! The camera I used was the JVC HD Everio with 40x digital zoom!
