I got this beautiful 10 pointer in Bladen County. I got an 8 point the Saturday before Thanksgiving and exactly one week later I got this one. He came walking down the trail and at first I didn't see the antlers, but a moment later I made the rack out. I didn't know how big the rack was yet. I couldn't believe it at first but I got my Savage 30.06 bolt action ready. I was shaking and.... Read More
I am a disabled veteran and just had surgery due to complications at the very beginning of bow season. I was so frustrated for this was the first bow season I had ever missed since I started hunting as a child except for the times I was deployed in the armed services. I was still sore but managed to suck it up, I grabbed my daughter and the rifles and headed up the hill for what was going to be.... Read More
Happy, Happy, Happy Hunter harvested this nice buck 'in them old cotton fields back home' on private land in Pitt County! While cotton fields can put you to the test when hunting, persistence and a lot of patience paid off in bagging this nice 8-point buck on November 29th. This proves that while food plots are nice--they are not necessary!! Thankful for this nice buck and meat for the.... Read More

What a morning. This is what being a sportsman is all about. This is Cameron's first buck. The excitement we shared this morning was priceless. We had this buck show up at 7:10. With hands shaking and our hearts pounding he made a fantastic 80 yard double lung shot. With his new 7mm08. Can't wait to see this buck on the wall beside his doe. Jerky Time!!!!
On November 4, 2013, my dad picked me up at 2:30 from school. We hurried home to get our hunting clothes on and get to the stand we have in Orange County.
