I recently bought a Minn Kota Endura trolling motor and now I'm looking to buy a marine battery to power it. Can anyone tell me which group size to buy (I have no idea what group size means)? The motor is a 30# thrust. I'm planning on buying it from Walmart, so here are my options....

I built this to hold my lower unit. Very easy and low cost. I used a treated 2x8, 3 lags 2 galvanized eyes and 2 carbunckles. Bottom piece is 18 inches long with a groove cut into it for the skeg and back piece is 16 inches with a notch cut out the length to hold unit. You need to take a couple of measurments for your unit. I added the hooks to help hold lower unit on stand. Cost 10 dollars time....
