The Catawba Catfish Club had our 9th and Final Tournament of the 2012-2013 Season this weekend{May 4th and 5th} on Lake Wylie,NC/SC..This was a 2 day tournament which ran 8 hours each day.On day one we had 29 Paying Anglers{14 Boats} come out to fish the tournament,On day 2 we had 12 of the 14 boats come back to fish.All were competing for a Total Pot of $580,we had a Big Fish Pot each day with.... The Catawba Catfish Club had our 6th Tournament of the 2012-2013 Season today{2-2-2013} on Lake Wateree,SC..A chilli and brisk 18 degrees greeted 52 paying anglers and 25 boats at the Lake Wateree State Park this morning.The chilli temps along with a steady 5-10 mph wind that gusted 15-20 at times made for a cold day on the water.The water was stained to muddy all over the lake from recent heavy.... Here is a video from the ceremony of the 3rd Annual Pinfish Open located in Hatteras, NC. This non-profit tournament was started by two young adults to bring more young kids to the fishing scene.
