Hey my name is Robert Mahoney, I am 24 and new in town, I'm currently in raliegh for a few weeks helping my sister get settled in (just moved from ny) I'm considering moving down here myself. And I would be moving almost solely for the fishing. I don't have a boat down here yet or much money to cash out on a rental, but I do have my gear with me and my nc license. • Cited on many Internet sites, look it up
When we\'re not walking the banks, we will usually use the jon boat. its a more casual style of fishing but very effective for hunting Lunkers.

Hello all,
I was hoping that you guys could help me with some fishing tips for lake Norman. My family is from Michigan and we rented a lake house and we have also rented a rather large pontoon boat =( I am usually the only one on it fishing so getting close to docks and what not is probably not going to happen. Luckily though the boat has electronics so I can make use of the depth finder! I....  Read More

  • Using the Navionics water level feature on Lake Jordan.
I fished lake Jordan for the first time today only for like 4 hours though. Right off the bat I caught a one like 2lb on a football head jig in 10ft of water. We wanted to find some off shore structure using his electronics it was kinda hard because he didn't have a very good map in his unit. So I pulled my Navionics App up on my Iphone and we used that one thing I did right off the get go....  Read More

So I was out in 24 feet of water paying close attention to my Navionics Chart on my Lowrance HDS and i'm noticing on my Chart at the end of the point it went from 20 -25 in about 2 feet so I casted my Carolina Rig over there and cracked into a big fish a 7....  Read More
