Hope everyone had a fun and safe Opening Day! Went out on gameland This am woke up late but got set-up before sunrise (no one else was there) Around 7:00am i heard a tom gobble down in a creek bottom (i was on top of a ridge) Called to him a couple of time and he answered back, but i never did see him, i wasnt set-up in the right Place. Just Wondering What do Ya'll Like Better, A Full Facemask Or War Paint For Turkey Hunting? I Wear A Facemask, I Got a new one coming from Bass pro The new UA Turkey Relvelution Mask, But i think i may try War Paint when the Heat turns On.

Well, Just Returned Last Night From My Coastal Trip. Had Alot Of Fun!! I Wish i would have drawn A Waterfowl Permit for the gameland I Was On, Because the Ducks Where Oplently Where I Was Smallgame hunting. Been Squirrel Hunting The Same Gameland trac on Butner-falls the last few times, and the squirrels Just keep on Coming, ive been getting about 5 a Day, Got 3 this afternoon, and finnly, i think ive got them thinned out well!! Been Some good Fun, about the head down east Thursday for Ducks And Squirrel Hunts. Cant Wait!!

Well, Today Is My Birthday So I Had The Day Off. Went hunting At My Favorite Spot On Butner-falls. Got In The Tree at 4:45am got set up and relaxed ready for an all Day Hunting. Just Wanted To Report That Saturday 11-3-12 I Was Hunting On Butner-falls And Seen Some Great Deer Chasing Action. Saw 5 Bucks Sat am Chasing one doe. All The Bucks Where Not Shooters So I Watched Them For Awhile and then Decided the Bucks Where To Small So I Took A Nice 80 Lb Doe. Use it to Mark Squirrel Locations #'s And To Get a Good Idea Of About How Many i need to Try to hunt and remove from any one area. Well Took Mon though Today Off From Deer Hunting (Which is going good no bucks yet, got 2 Nice Does) Wanted to Squirrel Hunt. Ive Been hunting at Whitehall Plantation Gameland since Monday, it's has been some real good spot and stalk Hunting. Just got home a few minutes ago. Well, Its Been an Good Bow Season, But Im Ready For Blackpower On Sat. Ive Got A Good Set-up. The Last 3 Days Been Seeing The Same One Doe And One Buck Fawn, And One Button Buck. They Come Though My Area At Right Around 6pm everytime, but they are just out of bow range 50 Yards. So I Hope The Muzzleloader Will Get The Doe. I Bought The Tinks Inflatable Doe Decoy to Use This Bow Season. It Looks Pretty Real From A Distance. Has Anyone Used This Decoy? Would Love To Hear From You. It Blows Up Alot Easier Then I Thought It Would. I'll Give A Report on How It Does on Opening Day.

Opening Day on Archery Only Trac Was Great!! First Light Heard One Gobble, and 10mins Later 2 Crows Fly over and shocked 2 more Gobblers. 3 Altogether!! And They Where Close 50 Yards Or Less. Although i could'nt see the birds, i could heard Them. Finnaly after half hr or so i caught a glimse of All Three Birds. They where up above me, i was Down In A Draw along a creek.
