Opening Morning started at 0430 with me wishing my Father Happy Birthday. Today is his 70th Birthday and with today being opening day it was already special. I know it is still early in the season and we all know that deer will change their habits as the season goes along. This past week I am having deer bedding under my one of my stands. Opening day of the 2011 season started great. Got dad dropped off at his stand and then walked in to my stand. He had two walk under his stand just before shooting light. I have a cool video that I shot of 10 turkeys running towards the feed location; as soon as I have it uploaded I will post it. Had a couple deer walk by just out of bow range. Hey Viper, Have not had any 10 pointers show up yet but do have a decent 8 point and 6 point. Just hope we can keep the birds in the area for next spring. Maybe next spring we could have you and Gobblintom come down and do turkey bow hunt.
