Need advice on a small food plot for this upcoming season. I live in chatham county and i would perfer something that attracts them from bow season til the end of gun season. Just need opinions. though about planting corn but wondering if i would be better off with a green plot. its a small plot im gonna say around an acre in size

I would like to know why deer drown in a pond, lake, etc. I found a doe that had drown in one over the summer and a perfect 2 1/2 year old 8 point during muzzleloader season. Both in the same pond. Does anyone know what causes them to do this?

I have a question that ive always wondered about. Is it better to move around and hunt many places and cover a lot of ground over the property you hunt or have 1 or 2 stands and hunt them hard throughout the season? advice, personal experiences, or anything else?

Hunted most of the day today and saw an unbelieveable amount of deer. the odd part is that all the deer i saw were between 10:30 and 2.
A big coyote intterupted my wonderful morning but my .300 BAR took care of that problem around 11:00

i agree with ya viper the next one is going where that 8 pound bass bass is. I didn't notice this when i shot the buck but he had a massive gash from fighting on his right shoulder. My taxidermist said it was from fighting and he painted it like a scar

I have called in and killed 3 coyotes since deer season went out. We have an unbelieveable amount here in Chatham county. I usually set up on field edges or in bottoms or really anywhere near a thicket and use a few howls to start off then rabbit/fawn distresses ever 5 minutes. I usually stay about 20-30 minutes at each setup

I just got home from the hospital the day before the opening day of rifle season in chatham county (I some how managed to split my kidney opening while quarterbacking for varsity football. Opening morning I sat down in a oak bottom that is bordered by a field on 2 side. I was unable to climb a deer stand due to injury. He come out chasing a doe through the oaks and I shot him with my .300 mag using my knee as a rifle rest
