  • Well after almost pulling the trigger the last couple of years, I went ahead and took the plunge today. I went ahead and ordered me a new blackpowder rifle. I went with the TC Omega SS/Thumbhole. Natchez had them on sale for $370. Ordered a Bushnell 3200 Bone collector DOA 250, Quake sling, rings, and bases for $660 shipped. A buddy has this gun and it is a tack driver. Just couldn't see spending $750-$800 for a Pro-hunter. Anyways I didn't care about switching barrels. I already have a dedicated deer rifle. Anybody on here got one? Likes? Dislikes? Load combinations?

    Hey guys,
I am new here and was getting your thoughts and opinions on the best game camera under $150-200? I currently have an older Wildgame x6c. I just recieved a Primos Ultra 40 for Christmas. I would like to add one more before next season. I am leaning toward a Bushnell Trophy Cam? Thoughts or suggestions please.

Several of you guys I've seen put trail cam picks on here, have an inferior six point gene. Although, I love me a big six, and no shame in taking a nice six. I once hunted a farm that you hardly ever saw an 8 killed, but we killed several 6 pointers 16-18'.

Thanks, GT. I think I will be happy with this setup for many years to come. My old BP gun was an old Knight Wolverine. Probably close to 20 years old. But, I've killed a pile of deer with it. I almost went with the Nikon Omega scope for about the same money, but I'm not a fan of the circles on the Nikon's. I like the crosshairs for a more precise aiming point.

Gobblintom, from all the reading on the net of reviews and such I have done. The trophy cams seem to have the best reviews, plus they have a two year warranty.
